Blah blah letters

I knew submitting to publishing houses would be difficult, emotionally. Why do they have to send the same rejection letter to everybody? Dear Author/ Illustrator, after careful consideration... Best of luck... Can't they at least have a circle around (author) or a check mark next to it? Why can't they make it look like they actually took careful consideration by putting a mark on the corner of each page OR a small note saying 'we like', 'WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU DO THAT!'
It would be even funnier if they put the notes in to texting form for example LOL or WTF. This way they could save on ink.
I guess something is better than nothing. I did hear a story about a submission that came back unopened marked in red marker 'Not interested'
